Monitor system health, availability, performance, and reliability against defined SLOs and SLAs. Triage alerts, respond to incidents, and perform root cause analysis. Address user questions and requests related to business systems (excluding desktop support). Implement change requests, coordinate deployments, and execute manual deployment steps. Develop and execute Business Continuity Planning (BCP) strategies. Continuously improve operational processes and support practices. Reliability Engineering & Continuous Improvement Analyze systems monitoring and observability requirements; enhance logging, monitoring, alerting, and analytics solutions accordingly. Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, and development teams to influence reliability and supportability decisions. Identify manual or risky operational procedures, and develop automation solutions to mitigate them. Conduct detailed post-incident reviews to derive lessons learned and prevent recurrence. Research system weaknesses and participate in architectural reviews to recommend improvements. Translate operational insights into high-quality stories and tasks for development teams, focusing on reliability and supportability. Drive ongoing enhancements to system reliability and operational health. Required 10+ years of experience in software engineering. 5+ years of experience in application production support. Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field. Demonstrated knowledge of SRE principles and practices. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Industry-standard technology certifications. Hands-on knowledge on Salesforce configuration and well versed in the platform Over 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with Agile methodologies (minimum 3 years). Advanced scripting skills for automation, logging, and alerting tasks. Familiarity with complex business logic and system dependencies. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation (minimum 3 years). Knowledge of ITSM processes such as incident, change, asset, and configuration management. Experience with technical documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams. Hands-on experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix, Mainframe). Proficiency with automation tools and CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, Git, Maven, Ansible, Puppet. Exposure to process management and scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys). Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, DataDog, New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace. Familiarity with virtualization and cloud orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware). Experience with data storage, messaging, and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, IBM MQ, Spark, Oracle, SQL, MongoDB). Working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls). Experience with testing frameworks and chaos engineering tools.
