Job Description

This position is slated to begin in September 2025.Key Responsibilities:Support the Lead Teacher: Assist in planning and implementing daily activities that promote childrens social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.Supervise Children: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children, providing attentive care and positive guidance.Classroom Environment: Help create and maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming classroom space that fosters learning and creativity.Engage with Children: Interact with children through play, learning activities, and one-on-one attention, supporting their growth and development.Communicate with Parents: Assist with maintaining open communication with parents/guardians about their childs progress and daily activities.Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the Lead Teacher and other staff members to create a positive and productive learning environment.Support Classroom Management: Help implement positive behavior strategies and assist with the management of classroom routines.Assist with cleaning responsibilities throughout the school, as needed.Qualifications:Be at least 18 years of age.High school diploma.Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting.Strong communication and teamwork skills.A love for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and growth.CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).Benefits:Health & dental benefits available to full-time employees.Competitive pay.Paid time off for full-time employees.Professional development and training opportunities.Supportive and collaborative work environment.
