Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in both clinical and administrative responsibilities and a desire to grow within a dynamic medical environment. You will play a critical role in supporting our providers and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms for clinical procedures
• Assist physicians with medical and wound care procedures, including orthopedic injections and wound debridements
• Take and record patient vitals and medical history
• Perform patient intake and provide basic education on wound care and treatment plans
• Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up communications
• Maintain and monitor office and medical inventory, ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized
• Support administrative operations and contribute to ongoing practice improvements
Qualifications:
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred
• Previous experience in wound care, orthopedics, or rehabilitation a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative in practice operations
