Job Description We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking individual skilled in copywriting and familiar with generative artificial intelligence to enhance the student experience and drive enrollment growth. This role involves copywriting and editing for a portfolio of healthcare-focused higher education institutions, creating campaign content, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels and platforms. The position reports to the lead copywriter and collaborates closely with marketing directors and creative teams. Success in this role requires exceptional writing abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and experience in engaging content creation. Write original marketing copy for various channels, including web, ads, email, social media, and blogs, based on templates and guidance from senior team members. Execute content assignments from the lead copywriter and project managers, following strategies developed by senior team members. Collaborate with senior copywriters and editors to ensure alignment with brand style, voice, and tone guidelines. Utilize generative AI tools (experience with Writer.ai is a plus) to assist in brainstorming, drafting, and optimizing content, while maintaining brand integrity. Stay informed about trends in AI-assisted content creation and marketing. Participate in brainstorming sessions and market research to contribute to team success. Incorporate feedback from senior team members to refine writing skills and improve content quality. Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to all policies and standards. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (Required) 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in copywriting or editing roles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail with proofreading and editing skills Knowledge of SEO best practices and writing for search engines Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Proven ability to understand and write about healthcare and higher education in an engaging manner Impressive portfolio demonstrating versatility and appealing content styles Understanding of B2C and B2B copywriting, and awareness of legal issues like plagiarism and libel Creative interrogation of briefs to present information innovatively Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience with social media, email marketing, and digital content creation Additional Information Salary range: $49,199.33 – $86,253.75, adjusted based on experience, location, and other factors.
