ProSearch is pleased to partner with Dead River Company in the recruitment of a highly qualified and strategic Director of Organizational Development & Learning. This pivotal position, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Administration, will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide initiatives focused on leadership development, employee training, internal communications, and organizational change management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage organizational development and learning strategies to support business goals.
  • Oversee training and development programs, addressing skill and leadership gaps across the organization.
  • Design and execute succession planning processes to ensure leadership continuity.
  • Drive effective change management initiatives and organizational transformation strategies.
  • Collaborate with managers to create leadership development plans aligned with core competencies.
  • Partner with the Internal Communications Manager to ensure consistent, effective employee communications.
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys, analyze data, and implement actionable strategies.
  • Support development across all employee levels, from hourly staff to senior leadership.
  • Enhance onboarding processes in collaboration with HR and Recruiting teams.
  • Provide leadership and budget oversight for the Dead River Institute and related programs.
  • Serve as a backup to the Director of Human Resources.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in organizational development within medium to large, distributed organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic planning, learning & development, and cultural initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  • (PHR, SPHR, or related certifications preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and organizational change.
