Your Day To Day (Role Summary):
You will work within our engineering and manufacturing team to support advanced electronic and electro-mechanical systems crucial to our product lines. Your role will involve hands-on technical work, including design, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining high-voltage DC power and high-power modulator systems. This position requires a strong technical background in analog and digital electronics, as well as expertise with high-voltage equipment and control systems.
You Will Be Accountable (Responsibilities):
Maintenance & Support: Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support for high-voltage DC power supplies, high-power modulator systems, and other electronic equipment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring optimal performance.
Fabrication & Assembly: Fabricate and assemble components for prototypes, and assist with experimental apparatus setup, testing, and adjustments.
System Repair: Conduct modifications, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
Component-Level Troubleshooting: Apply a strong foundation in analog and digital electronic theory to troubleshoot down to the component level.
Control System Diagnosis: Diagnose and repair issues with PLC control systems to maintain efficient system operation.
Test Equipment Proficiency: Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, RF test equipment, and high-voltage equipment for accurate system diagnostics and repair.
High-Voltage Systems Expertise: Work safely and confidently with high-voltage systems, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
Performance Assessment: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and control systems to assess electronic systems' performance.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives for product and process optimization.
Safety Compliance: Follow established safety protocols rigorously, contributing to a safe, efficient work environment.
Adaptability: Work extended hours as necessary to support production schedules and project timelines.
