Job Description
Responsibilities Kforce's client, one of NYC's most respected Real Estate owner/developer/managers, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Associate/Administrator to join their family office. This person will be responsible for a number of accounting and banking related functions supporting the family office's diversified investment portfolio. This position offers a unique blend of accounting, legal, and operational responsibilities, providing broad exposure to private equity, estate planning, and high-net-worth financial operations. Responsibilities:
- Reconcile bank and investment account statements
- Monitor and assist with processing capital call and distribution notices
- Support the preparation, review, and organization of legal and financial documents
- Assist in preparing annual financial reports and schedules
- Coordinate schedules related to tax return filings
- Assist with execution and recordkeeping of legal documents
- Provide support for ad hoc projects
Skills - 2+ years of related administrative,financial, banking and/or accounting related experience-preferably in a family office environment
- Advanced Excel skills
- KYC (Know Your Customer) exposure
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
