We are looking for a skilled Front End Developer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia, on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for creating dynamic and user-friendly web applications while contributing to the redesign and enhancement of our public website. You will collaborate closely with the website team to implement innovative solutions that improve accessibility, performance, and functionality.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Customize and build websites using platforms like WordPress and Shopify to meet organizational needs.
• Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate with the team to execute a full redesign of the public website based on wireframes and provided audits.
• Enhance website accessibility and implement improvements based on architecture assessments.
• Evaluate and integrate AI translation tools to optimize multi-language functionality.
• Suggest and implement new features for the membership platform and subscription processes.
• Perform regular updates and modifications to themes, including Divi, to align with project goals.
• Work in Agile sprints to ensure timely delivery of tasks and provide comprehensive status reports.
• Manage hosting environments, domains, and server configurations as needed.• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and front-end frameworks like React.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for responsive web design.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify development.
• Familiarity with database management systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of AI translation tools and their integration into websites.
• Ability to implement accessibility improvements and optimize information architecture.
• Experience working with wireframes to develop user-centered designs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in Agile environments.
