Current and past customers include Apple, Google, Meta, Disney, DreamWorks, Activision, Technicolor, ESPN, LEGO, NASA and many others.THE ROLEAs part of our team, you will lead critical aspects of database and system architecture, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance across projects. You will guide the development of logical and physical database structures, review and approve system modifications, and oversee the implementation of robust security protocols. Working closely with technical teams, you will define project scope, estimate resources, and enforce best practices that protect sensitive information and streamline software acquisition and use. Your leadership will be key in planning, scheduling, and supervising the rollout of new technologies and system enhancements.What You'll DoReview and approve the modification of existing databases and database management systemsInstruct staff to write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management systemDirect database development and approve project scope and limitationsReview project requests describing database user needs to estimate the time and cost required to accomplish the projectPlan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosureApprove, schedule, plan and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to computer systemsDevelop standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable informationWho You AreBSc degree in Computer Science or related fields7+ years experience coding in languages such as C/C++, design code for efficiency, and target different platforms such as GPU, Cloud, and othersKnowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, VisualBasic, etcVerbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong ability to work independently and manage one’s timeStrong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedbackStrong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and deliveryProof of eligibility to work in the United StatesCompensation & BenefitsThe annual compensation includes equity (per qualifications)The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $155,000 plus equity (per qualifications)The base pay offered will take into account internal parity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factorsHealth Insurance - Medical, Dental, Vision and Life InsuranceDiscounts on movie tickets, theme parks, hotels, Broadway and Vegas shows, shopping partners & moreFlexible working environment and more!Additional InfoDigitalFish is an equal opportunities employer ensuring that all applicants are treated equally and fairly throughout our recruitment process.
