Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Guidewire Functional Tester with deep expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter product testing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic project team working with one of our premier clients in the P&C insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of Guidewire ClaimCenter with a focus on quality and timeliness.
• Collaborate with the development team, test leads, and test managers to communicate issues and track defects using appropriate defect management tools.
• Execute and validate test cases, maintain traceability, and manage defect life cycles.
• Take ownership of tasks and demonstrate a proactive, self-starting approach to problem-solving.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow best practices in Agile development environments.
• Document and report test results, including detailed issue descriptions and status updates.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter functional testing .
• Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management and issue resolution.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies .
• Proficient in SQL (Select, Update, Joins) for data validation and test support.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Rally, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint .
• Solid understanding of the Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain .
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.
