As a critical member of our care team, Hospice Care Consultants make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives every day by increasing the number of people who receive hospice and palliative care, initiating the process to help patients and families start hospice services, educating physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals and other healthcare partners on the benefits of hospice care, ensuring patients facing life-limiting illnesses have access to care and support to live each day with comfort, dignity, and quality of life, proactively building positive relationships with referring physicians, facilities, case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and other healthcare providers, and coordinating public education and communication efforts to increase community outreach. Education and experience required include a Bachelor's in Business and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, five plus years of related industry experience with a successful track record in customer relationship and account management, proven selling and customer relationship management skills, strong clinical knowledge to engage key stakeholders such as physicians and clinical staff, and a professional presence that influences desired results. Certifications include a valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance.
