Description

The Site Group, PLLC is a Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, and Planning firm operating out of Raleigh, North Carolina. We are hiring a full-time, experienced Landscape Architect with a minimum of 4 years’ experience. As a Landscape Architect within our team, you will take on a multifaceted role, with a focus on project management and leading teams in the development of site plans. Experience managing projects through the rezoning process is also a plus.

We look to you as a core member of our growing operation, leveraging your expertise and industry knowledge to provide professional, insightful, and high-quality service to our clients. Your skills will be crucial for the development of Landscape Plans that encompass a range of site development needs including softscaping, hardscaping, drainage solutions, irrigation, and site lighting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Client management and communication pertaining to a variety of projects within Raleigh and surrounding areas
  • Attend and lead client meetings
  • Use of Civil 3D to prepare land development design drawings
  • Aid in the preparation of reports, design specifications, plans, and permits for our projects
  • Review and seal construction drawings
  • Prepare project submittals, while meeting timelines and budget constraints
  • Coordinate with Sub-contractors, Surveyors and Consultants

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Landscape Architect
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree with RLA Licensure (NC Preferred)
  • Familiar with regional Stormwater design and requirements
  • Thrives on creativity and is eager to contribute to site design and diverse projects
  • Highly motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of horticultural materials suitable for North Carolina and adeptness in employing proper planting techniques
