Job Title: Machinist
Location: Santa Maria, California

Job Description:
An immediate opening is available for a full-time, experienced Machinist in a fast-paced manufacturing support role.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Machinist
• Industrial trade school or college courses preferred
• Must have own tools (Annual tool allowance provided)

Duties:

• Machining parts, jigs, and dies for repair and fabrication of plant equipment, shop tools, and manufacturing dies
• Using precision measuring equipment, technical manuals, and reading blueprints
• Following instructions accurately

Responsibilities:

• Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
• Modify parts and materials to enhance production
• Test completed equipment to identify and eliminate defects
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in machinery or related fields
• Familiarity with machine tools and equipment
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to pass a written pre-employment knowledge and skills test

Additional Requirements:

• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
