TITLE : Mechanical Assembler


Comp: Up to $27/hr plus overtime

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Our client is seeking immediate assistance in identifying a candidate for a Mechanical Assembler direct hire position in Indianapolis, IN

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble shot blasting equipment, reclaimers, dust collectors, and miscellaneous sub-assemblies as required utilizing written procedures, blueprints, and basic hand/power tools.
• Inspect and test finished products and sub-assemblies.
• Report all material shortages and documentation errors to the supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and organized workstation.
• Responsible for assembling a variety of finished products utilizing written process procedures, blueprints, schematics, and job experience. Some degree of independent work is required at times.

Must have:

• High school education or equivalent is required; trade school with electrical and mechanical training is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
• Must own commonly used hand tools and measuring devices.
• Able to read blueprints
• Utilization of hand/power tools
• Understanding of electrical assemblies
