We are recruiting Spring and Summer Interns for 2026 to work with one of our Service Lines in Albany, Buffalo, East Aurora, Rochester and Syracuse. (Spring 2026 January - April, Summer 2026 June - August). This position is in-person and will report to the office. We will work around your school schedule in the Spring. We can accommodate part-time hours, 20-25 hours/week, or a full-time co-op in the Spring. The Summer internship is full-time, 36 hours/week. Our accounting internships involve actual accounting. Responsibilities include Tax Internship (Spring Only) - planning and preparing tax returns for individuals, small business and large business clients; Small Business Advisory Internship (Spring Only) - planning and preparing tax returns for small business clients, compilations, bookkeeping, and general accounting tasks; Assurance Internship (Spring and Summer) - working in Efficiency Center, Productivity Department tasks, collaboration with Finance Department, working on 990s, Employee Benefit Plans tasks, Technical Accounting Standards Updates assignments, and 6/30 year-end audits. Qualifications include active enrollment in an accredited Accounting, Business or related curriculum that satisfies the 150-hour academic requirement toward CPA certification, excellent communication skills, passion for customer satisfaction, strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite. The hourly wage is $22/hour. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with summer hours Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to noon.
