Job Description:
Our client, a life insurance carrier, is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering results.
 
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope, objectives and success criteria of multi-million operations projects.
• Develop project plans outlining timelines, milestones, resource allocation and key deliverables.
• Create work breakdown structures and task assignments to ensure clarity in roles and responsibilities.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring all members understand their contributions to project goals.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration within teams, encouraging knowledge sharing and problem-solving.
• Follow up consistently with task owners to ensure deadlines are met and the project progresses according to plan.
• Redefine plans, assign new timelines and communicate changes as necessary when issues arrive.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks and issues.
• Facilitate status meetings and produce reports summarizing project status, risks and mitigation strategies.
• Manage stakeholders expectations by aligning deliverables with needs and addressing changes in scope or priorities.
• Identify and assess risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on timelines, costs and quality.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects stay within financial constraints. 
• Track expenses, approve expenditures and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Optimize resource utilization, balancing team capacity with project demands.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules, tracking tasks and ensuring timely completion.
• Monitor progress against the project plan, addressing delays or deviations and ensuring critical milestones are met.

• Pragmatic self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• 3+ years of experience in project management
• Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello)
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification in PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in any field

Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $125,000- $160,000 annually. We understand that salary is an important factor in a job search, and we encourage you to apply even if you feel that your desired compensation may fall outside of the listed range. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
