Sacramento Eye Consultants is seeking a CA licensed optometrist for a full-time position. We are interested in a dynamic, growth-oriented individual with strong general optometry and anterior segment skills to join our growing team of ophthalmologists in a private practice group setting with complete autonomy from hospitals or private equity groups. The practice provides a fast-paced environment for the optometrist who enjoys being challenged and possesses superior skills. New graduates as well as experienced Optometrists are welcome to apply.
Sacramento Eye Consultants has been serving the Sacramento Valley for over 30 years as a well-respected subspecialty practice in refractive, cataract surgery, glaucoma, cornea and complex anterior segment diseases and surgery. We have a strong network of referring optometrists and ophthalmologists. Current staffing includes 3 cornea specialists, 2 glaucoma specialists, and 2 optometrists as well as experienced support staff and a marketing department. Brand new Sacramento office location with state of the art equipment.
Sacramento Eye Consultants is a clinical research-focused practice recognized for staying at the forefront of technological and surgical advancement. The candidate would have the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge anterior segment clinical trials if desired.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
· Ensures the best patient care for all comprehensive eye care, preoperative and postoperative cataract and refractive surgery, cornea and glaucoma patients.
· Accurate patient refractions during primary eye care and postoperative evaluations.
· Provide an outstanding patient experience.
· Ensures adequate communication and coordination of care between surgeons and patients.
· Assist in other areas as needed.
