Job Title: Project Engineer / Civil Designer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our dynamic civil engineering team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of industry experience, strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and a working knowledge of stormwater analysis and design. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of engineering design plans and reports for civil infrastructure and land development projects.
• Perform stormwater modeling and analysis using industry-standard tools and methods.
• Prepare technical drawings and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Conduct site investigations and collect data to support design efforts.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver high-quality work on schedule.
• Support the preparation of permit applications and construction documents.
• Maintain organized project documentation and follow company procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the engineering industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater analysis/design tools.
• Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and design practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude .
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with software such as HydroCAD, Hydrology Studio, StormCAD, Hydraflow, HEC-RAS, or SWMM.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal design standards and permitting processes.
