Electronics Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in electronic assembly and a passion for leading and mentoring others. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling complex electronic components, troubleshooting low-voltage systems, and guiding a team of assemblers to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of electronic assemblers in daily operations.
• Assemble and wire electronic components, including relays, contact panels, and circuit boards.
• Use multimeters and other diagnostic tools to test and troubleshoot low-voltage systems.
• Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assembly procedures and test results.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing support and guidance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in electronic assembly or a related field.
• Proven experience with relays, multimeters, contact panels, and low-voltage troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
