Senior Network Security Engineer with Security Clearance Description SAIC is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to support the Revolutionary Information Technology Services (RITS) program for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). This role involves managing enterprise service request projects from planning to delivery, interfacing with government partners, end users, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include defining project scope, developing work plans, conducting project meetings, and providing technical guidance to the engineering team. Duties and Responsibilities Design, implement, test, and deploy secure networks and architectures. Assess system compliance with NIST and DoD security standards, including NIST 80053, DISA STIGs, and SRGs. Perform security implementations and troubleshooting for Check Point devices, firewalls, and network security tools. Conduct network troubleshooting using tools like tcpdump. Perform risk analysis on engineering requests and communicate risks to stakeholders. Provide cybersecurity guidance on hardware and software used within the organization. Develop requirements, design solutions, and support transition to operations for new systems. Document cybersecurity architecture and design choices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience or 4 years of experience with a degree. Experience assessing IT architecture for security compliance. Minimum 2 years leading organizational change. At least 5 years of experience with Check Point solutions. Certifications: CISSP or CASP+. Experience with technologies like Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, Trellix, etc. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Desired Skills ITIL V3 or V4. Cloud experience (AWS, EC2, VPC). Additional security and architecture certifications. The salary range is $120,001 $160,000. SAIC accepts applications continuously.
