RTX Corporation, a leader in the aerospace and defense industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior RF Test Engineer to join the Circuit Card Manufacturing test team. The successful candidate will work to develop and implement test strategies for mission critical RF Circuit Card Assemblies, ensuring the highest standards of performance and reliability.
This is a 2nd Shift position with a 8% shift differential
What You Will Do
Analyze test data and troubleshoot RF systems to identify and resolve performance issues.
Develop and maintain test procedures in compliance with industry standards and company requirements, for various RF CCAs.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams on Continuous Improvement opportunities to increase product performance and reliability.
Utilize advanced RF test equipment and software to conduct thorough evaluations of RF systems and components.
Monitor and analyze SPC data to ensure process stability and product quality.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Stay current with advancements in RF technology and incorporate new methodologies into test processes.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
Knowledge of RF principles, including impedance matching, signal integrity, and spectrum analysis.
Experience with RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
Experience with creating SPC charts and Failure Pareto's for early failure trend detection.

Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with RF test automation and programming languages such as Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB.
Experience with any SPC monitoring tools.
Ability and enthusiasm to work in our secret, closed-area test laboratory.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., FCC, ITAR, MIL-STD).
Experience with RF systems used in aerospace and defense applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
