This is an extraordinary opportunity for a seasoned finance professional with a proven track record in financial management for small companies. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's financial and accounting functions, including budgets, analysis, AP, AR, payroll and reporting. Your leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional financial competence will aid our organization in maintaining financial health and making sound financial decisions. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards.
2. Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, program budgets, and actual expenditures.
3. Regularly produce financial reports and statements to track the financial health and liquidity of the business.
4. Coordinate all audit and internal control processes.
5. Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation.
6. Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow.
7. Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards.

1. Utilize Quickbooks for various financial functions including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
2. Compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
3. Solid experience in Quickbooks, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
4. Strong knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP).
5. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Strong analytical, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
7. High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
