Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Meets with Operations manager to discuss setup arrangements; addresses last-minute changes and resolves problems.
2. Interacts with guests and resolves complaints in a service-oriented manner.
3. Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items.
4. Instructs staff on work expectations for catered functions.
5. Leads and helps staff in set up of event spaces to desired specifications.
6. Delivers food and supplies to scheduled locations.
7. Serves food and beverages to guests.
8. Returns food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility.
9. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
10. Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
11. Ensures proper control and handling of all inventory and equipment.
12. Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Management or leadership experience - minimum 2 years
• Must be 21 years or older
• Bartending experience - confident in assisting behind the bar
• Valid WA state food handlers' card
• WA state MAST certified
• Ability to stand for long periods and actively engage with guests
• Comfortable working outdoors

Job Summary

Summary: Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure timely delivery, service, and cleanup of functions. Prepares and serves food under supervision. May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Determine workload from catering orders.
• Discuss setup with function leaders; address last-minute changes.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints.
• Understand menu items thoroughly.
• Instruct staff for catered functions.
• Assist in setting up rooms.
• Deliver and serve food and supplies.
• Ensure proper presentation and temperature control.
• Maintain sanitation standards.
• Follow approved recipes and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain or possess a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit as required by law.
