Monday – Thursday, Core hours will be 7:30 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 7:30 AM-Noon

Salary

$60,000 - 70,000 based on experience

What is the Job

Directly supervises and coordinates the activities of the shipping and receiving department. Directs vehicle operators, assuring all materials and supplies are properly received and shipped on time. Ensure proper and correct documentation on all materials entering and leaving the All-Color Powder Coating, Inc. facility. Oversee trucking fleet, including maintenance documentation. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.

1. Oversee the operations of the Shipping and Receiving department.
2. Track and maintain all truck drivers’ records meeting Federal, State, and DOT requirements.
3. Maintain, update, and train drivers through fleet safety programs.
4. Schedule pick-ups and deliveries of parts with customers using All-Color or other trucks.
5. Coordinate the driving schedule for All-Color Truck Drivers.
6. Work cross-functionally with other departments and assist in answering pertinent shipping/receiving questions as needed. 
7. Maintain and coordinate repairs of all company vehicles and tracks with detailed documentation of service.
8. Determine a cost-effective ways to ship and receive parts via common carriers.
9. Establish and maintain relationships with freight carriers.
10. Assist with loading and unloading trucks. 
11. Verify count accuracy of incoming materials and supplies and communicate any discrepancies. 
12. Ensure proper paperwork and distribution of all incoming materials and supplies—including powder.
13. Enter appropriate and correct receiving information into QuickBooks and Bluestreak Production Software.
14. Verify the accuracy of counts, descriptions, and part numbers on all outgoing products and resolve discrepancies accordingly. 
15. Prepare paperwork for outgoing shipments, including Packing Lists, Labels, Bills of Lading, etc., and verify paperwork for accuracy according to purchase orders. 
16. Verifying outgoing shipments, following customer specifications. 
17. Monitor equipment for any irregularities and report any necessary repairs. 
18. Enforce proper use of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
19. Work with production personnel to maintain an inventory of all packaging supplies and materials and place orders to ensure supplies and materials are on hand accordingly.
20. Ensure appropriate labeling with company information on all materials.
21. Develop and train staff in Shipping and Receiving duties and expectations. 
22. Monitor and maintain the warehouse for proper organization and overall cleanliness.
23. Provide recommendations for process improvement. 
24. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. 

Knowledge and Skill

• Proficient in mathematics and numbering systems
• Basic computer knowledge
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Software
• Bluestreak Manufacturing Software is desired
• Ability to operate weigh count scale, hand pallet jacks, banders, hand tools, etc. 
• Ability to become forklift certified by All-Color 
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other employees
• Proven leadership experience
• Ability to prioritize through managing multiple tasks
• Accuracy with attention to detail
• Ability to speak and understand the English language
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed 
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Professionalism

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

• 4 years minimum manufacturing background/experience preferred 
• 5 years of experience preferred with a manufacturing background
• High school education or equivalent

Compensation details: 60000-70000 Yearly Salary
