Responsibilities Build platforms for simulation and live trading of different financial markets, instruments, and trading algorithms. Extend trading platforms to cover new markets and new asset classes, accounting for the financial details of those securities; review software code for errors and improvements. Analyze performance of software and other quantitative measures to inform decision making regarding the design and improvements of the trading systems. Design, engineer, and implement various financial trading and measurement software applications. Provide software support to traders implementing their portfolio orders. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2-6 years of experience preferred for systems level development. BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with C, C++, or Rust is required. Familiarity with Python is a plus. A high-level understanding of data structures and algorithms. Experience in deploying and optimizing quantitative models in production environments is a strong plus. Experience in large-scale systems is desirable. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
