The University of Miami/UHealth department of Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Sr. Mail Clerk to work at UHealth Medical Campus. The Senior Mail Clerk collects, processes and distributes incoming and outgoing mail ensuring confidentiality and appropriate postage and handling for all mail. He/she also guides the work of lower level mail clerks. Core Responsibilities include assisting lower level mail clerks with day-to-day tasks and training, determining and affixing postage on registered mail and packages, dating and stamping incoming mail, sorting mail by locator code and organizing by delivery route, assisting in distribution of mail assigned locations, readdressing undeliverable mail, maintaining logs of postage charges and mail received and sent, examining outgoing mail for appearance and proper sealing, and adhering to University policies and safeguarding assets. Core Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 1 year of relevant experience, ability to understand and follow instructions, skill in completing assignments accurately, ability to work independently or collaboratively, ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others.
