Construction Foreman

Western Specialty Contractors is currently looking for self-motivated, top-notch individuals to help serve our customers as a Construction Foreman. If you are a self-motivated individual with great work ethic and the personality to help with customer satisfaction, then we would love to meet you! Wage ranges from $20-$30 per hour depending on experience.

As a Foreman, you will:

1. Identify existing and predictable hazards to work surroundings, including working conditions that are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous to employees.
2. Work may include commercial caulking, window glazing, waterproofing, wall and floor coatings, structural concrete repairs, and masonry restoration.
3. Assists the various craftsmen in the performance of their work within a particular construction work area and in accordance with generally accepted standards of the craft.
4. Supervises workers assigned to area of responsibility to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications and meets quality standards.
5. Acts as the competent person on the job by identifying existing and predicable hazards which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous to employees and halting any operation or removes employees from environments that may be dangerous.
6. Supervise workers assigned to the area of responsibility to ensure that work complies with specifications and meets quality standards.
7. Communicate effectively to supervise employees and maintain customer relations.
8. Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds.
9. May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials during installation.
10. Oversee and maintain company safety requirements and ensure that they are known and understood by all workers.
11. Other tasks as required based on business need.
