Job Summary:


The Account Executive interacts with clients on a day-to-day basis while developing and maintaining relationships with both client and carrier representatives. The Account Executive will prepare applications, specifications and marketing strategy for new business as well as the renewals of assigned clients with some degree of supervision and approval from their Supervisor. You will take on the role of lead consultant and primary point of contact for assigned clients and you may support the Account Management team where needed. The Account Executive will have client retention targets. This is a growth opportunity on a leadership track.

You should have experience servicing clients within Private Client Business/Personal Risk/Personal Lines - affluent-HNW group.


This is a full-time role with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. This role requires at least 2-3 days a week from our Palm Beach Gardens, FL office. Working in the office is essential for fostering your network, interactions and facilitating career development and mentorship of support staff. Being in-office allows for spontaneous collaboration, immediate feedback, and stronger team relationships, all of which are crucial for your professional growth and success.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Must be able run reports, prepare presentations and standard business correspondence.
  • Negotiates terms, conditions, coverage limits and pricing with carriers and wholesalers.
  • Works with the Claims Department on relevant claims for assigned clients.
  • Responsible for accurate information such as updated exposures, driver information, reporting forms, signed endorsements and miscellaneous information to avoid any E&O claims.
  • Maintains a follow-up system to ensure policies, endorsements and other information is received to comply with requests.
  • May direct the daily job activities of the Coordinators and Account Managers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, and clients through regular contact and client visits. Keep clients apprised of appropriate industry trends and events, including all state and federal regulatory issues.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
  • Florida market experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work a weekly hybrid schedule from our Palm Beach Gardens, FL office.
  • When working from home, you must maintain a private workspace to secure company equipment and correspondence; maintain high-speed internet, be present and responsive online and minimize personal interruptions during your work shift.
  • Knowledge of all areas of Personal/Personal Risk coverage is required.
  • Demonstrated strong client-leadership skills along with servicing clients in the high-net-worth/private client group space.
  • Ability and desire for a team leader and leadership career track.
  • Experience with EPIC or similar client management system required.
  • Possess technical expertise plus good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous and professional manner.
  • Excellent written communication skills writes clearly; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numeric data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.
  • Self-confident to make sound independent decisions.
  • Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people/personalities.
  • Strong attention to detail, decision-making skills and problem resolution.
Education and/or Experience:

  • P&C License upon hire. Additional P&C designations preferred
  • BA/BS preferred. HS Diploma or equivalent is required
  • More than 5 years of industry and Personal Lines/Personal Risk/High net worth experience
  • Experience working with private client insurance carriers

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 $115,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
