Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Training & Process Development Specialist to design, deliver, and maintain effective training programs and standardized workflows for our retail employees. This position will focus on creating practical, repeatable training and process documentation that improves onboarding, increases productivity, and ensures consistent customer experiences across all stores.

This is a “roll-up-your-sleeves” position — the Specialist will spend significant time in the field observing workflows, creating training materials, and personally delivering training to employees and supervisors.

  • 2–4 years of experience in employee training, onboarding, or process documentation — preferably in a retail or service environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create simple, easy-to-follow SOPs, checklists, and training materials.
  • Experience facilitating small group and one-on-one training.
  • Familiarity with basic training technologies or Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.

Clearances
Ability to obtain acceptable results for required background checks, including but not limited to Act 151 Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania Criminal History Check, and Department of Human Services- FBI Fingerprints.

Other Requirements
Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record, and/or dependable transportation, which can be used for work.

- Communication Skills: Able to create and present materials that resonate with a variety of learning styles and literacy levels.
- Self-Starter: Works independently, manages priorities, and drives projects to completion.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Uses feedback and data to refine training and workflows over time.

- Observe and document core workflows such as donation intake, production, merchandising, cashiering, and safety protocols.
- Work with store managers to validate processes and roll out updated SOPs.
- Keep all documentation current, accessible, and easy for employees to use.

On-the-Job Coaching
- Provide direct, hands-on coaching to new employees and supervisors to reinforce proper procedures.
- Support store managers with “train-the-trainer” tools so they can sustain learning on site.

Measurement & Feedback
